මෙරට සංචාරය කිරීමේදී පවතින ඩෙංගු රෝගී තත්ත්වය සම්බන්ධයෙන් අවධානයෙන් පසුවන්නැයි බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රජය එරට පුරවැසියන්ට දැනුම් දී තිබෙනවා. එරට රජයේ නිල වෙබ් අඩවියේ සඳහන් කර ඇත්තේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රදේශ රැසක ඩෙංගු රෝගය ව්‍යාප්ත වී ඇති බවයි.

80 දහසකට ආසන්න රෝගීන් ප්‍රමාණයක් මෙම වසරේ දී මෙරටින් වාර්තා වී ඇති අතර පසුගිය වසරට සාපේක්ෂව එය සැලකිය යුතු ඉහළ යාමක් බව   බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රජය පෙන්වා දෙනවා. මදුරු දෂ්ඨනයෙන් ආරක්ෂාවන ලෙස සහ හදිසි රෝගී තත්වයකදී ගතයුතු පියවර සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද එරට රජය මෙහිදී දැනුම්වත් කර තිබනෙවා.
